The Black Gold School Division has NOT agreed to pilot the Draft curriculum.

The information in the article written by Eva Ferguson published in the Calgary Herald and its affiliates today is absolutely incorrect.

The Board of Trustees, at their last meeting on Wednesday decided to continue their measured approach to studying the draft curriculum and taking many factors into consideration before making their decision whether to pilot or not.

“I want to be perfectly clear”, stated Superintendent Romanchuk, “the information in the article is false.  I can’t imagine who would have wanted to undermine the process with  this inflammatory information. I have asked the Herald for a retraction and an apology.”
